Pearlcatchers' unique approach was recently recognised by London & Thames Today, who presented them with a BA Award for Excellence in Corporate Entertainment Solutions. Director of Customer Operations, Sharon Young enthuses "We are delighted that London & Thames Today picked us out of all the event organizers that must have advertised over the year. It is a great honour and one which we intend to live up to in the coming year."
Pearlcatchers was set up by a small team of professionals with backgrounds in both the business world and theatre, giving them a unique perspective on both the creative and practical requirements of corporate entertainment, which as Sharon explains, gives them their competitive edge.
"What makes Pearlcatchers stand out from the crowd is that we can relate to our customers on both a business and creative level. In previous roles, our team have all experienced the usual difficulties trying to find suppliers who could offer the right level of variety, pricing, flexibility and professionalism. All too often, however, the good suppliers only dealt in specialist niches, which was fine until you wanted to try something different. It was then that we decided that someone needed to bridge the gap ... and so Pearlcatchers was born."
London & Thames Today will be formally presenting the award to Sharon at the International Confex Show at Earls Court, London on Thursday 27th February 2003.
