Change dominates today's business landscape, but figures still show that around 50-65% of all change initiatives fail. Research identifies that this is not necessarily due to the quality of the initial vision, but is more to do with how the change was implemented.
With this in mind, Pearlcatchers Ltd, in association with the Best Practice Club (a membership organisation that facilitates networking, benchmarking and sharing best practice across a wide range of companies and sectors) decided to design something to fill the gap.
Neil Covill-Lane, Director of the club enthuses "We are terribly excited about this new programme, which has been designed specifically to meet the needs of our members and are delighted to be working with Pearlcatchers on this project."
This collaboration has resulted in the Organisational Change Programme, a series of complementary activities, which focus on all three of the core attributes needed by effective change management professionals:
Pearlcatchers' Sharon Young, who is project managing its introduction explains "Our initial market research revealed that while there is an abundance of training available in this field, most courses deal with only one or at most two of these attributes. Obviously, knowledge of the key issues and an understanding of relevant tools are important, but to be truly effective a potential change manager needs to possess the right skills to apply them correctly. This is the basis from which we designed the Organisational Change Programme - to provide a holistic and integrated development opportunity."
