Pearlcatchers recognised the need to find a partner who could provide outdoor and adventure activities for its teambuilding events. But finding a suitable partner was not as easy as it may at first seem. Certainly, there are plenty of suppliers that offer this type of activity, but Pearlcatchers were looking for a company with both a proven record and also a similar approach and values to themselves.
Director of Customer Operations, Sharon Young, explains "At Pearlcatchers we pride ourselves both on our professional yet friendly approach and on our ability to be flexible and tailor our services to meet the needs of our customers. There is a plethora of suppliers of outdoor activities on the market, but many of them offer merely standard services and/or are not set up to deal with corporate customers. We were therefore delighted to find Country Wide Special Events, who have both excellent facilities and staff, as well as a similar mindset to ourselves in terms of customer focus and flexibility."
Established in 1991 Country Wide Special Events operates from its 300 acre site in Surrey with its fully equipped Corporate Centre. However, all their activities are fully mobile and can either be hosted at one of their own multi activity centres or at a venue of the customer's choice. Country Wide Special Events specialise in event management and offer a wide range of action packed events from company fun days to team building challenges, product launches, multi-activity days and treasure hunts. As well as offering each other's services to customers, Pearlcatchers Ltd and Country Wide Special Events are also working to design a series of new improved events that will combine the best of both their skills and services.
