Sharon Young has worked for many years in both operational and change roles at companies such as Yellow Pages and Cable & Wireless. Sharon's experience as both an agent and target of change gives her a unique perspective as a trainer and consultant. Having been involved in the amateur drama for 15 years, Sharon recognised its potential as a learning and development technique. She has put together a team of professional actors, writers and trainers who can compliment her commercial knowledge.
Since forming Pearlcatchers in 2001, Sharon has worked with a wide range of companies from both the public and private sector and is an associate trainer for the Best Practice Club. Sharon is particularly skilled at identifying the underlying development needs of both individuals and organizations and designing tailor-made solutions to fulfill these requirements. Lou Stein
Lou is an experienced presentation and communications skills trainer with a background as a drama director and BBC producer. He brings a unique combination of theatre-based training and management expertise to his work. He uses this combination to encourage business people to communicate their thoughts more confidently, creatively, and clearly.
Lou has directed entertainers such as Stephen Fry, Helen Mirren and Sir John Mills and applies the same skills in a business context when training senior business people from the private and public sector. Before forming Lou Stein Associates in 2001 he was Chief Executive of the East of England Arts Board, the largest regional public funding body in the UK. He is also a Visiting Professor at Rose Bruford Drama College, London.

Nicky Moran BA (Hons)
Biography
Nicky has a BA in the Performing Arts and her career background also includes twelve years working in various communication roles, such as BBC Broadcast Journalist, Press Officer and a Drama Coach.
Nicky was inspired to venture into training, after working on a culture change project at the BBC, which encouraged staff to "make it happen" and to take charge and develop a more dynamic and engaging work environment.
Qualifications include NLP Practitioner, Diploma in Life Coaching, Diploma in Counselling Skills, CIPD certified trainer and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Carol Roome MCPID, MCMI.
Carol is a member of both the CMI and CIPD, has been an independent Management Training Consultant since 1986. Using both her professional experience and knowledge from completing the Diploma in Management Studies, she started running Management Training Courses in the behavioural sciences for all levels from shop floor supervision to senior management and directors.
Carol Roome has worked as an Associate Advisor with The Industrial Society and developed, designed and run a wide range of courses for customers such as Toshiba, Pearl Assurance and the Inland Revenue.

Personal Effectiveness Courses which cover topics such as communication, interpersonal skills and behaviour, and assertiveness. Carol also runs courses in facilitation skills, presentation skills and influencing.In these programmes the emphasis is on a greater awareness of self, the way in which we communicate (using the Communication Styles Model), our behaviour, our attitude and how we appear to others leading to a greater understanding of ourselves and how others see us. The emphasis throughout is on increasing self awareness and understanding, but also ensuring that there are practical and tangible outcomes from each session so that delegates go away with real tools and newly acquired skills that they feel able to put into practice upon return to work.
Carol also runs General Management Courses in which she covers material such as Honey and Mumfords Learning Styles, the Situational Leadership Model, Belbin Team Roles, motivation, delegation, power and influence. These courses are generally aimed at managers who may have only recently assumed responsibility for staff for the first time or indeed, may be quite senior in the organisation but have had little or no formal man-management training.

Kate Leaman is a sales and customer service trainer with a difference.
