Active Learning Days incorporate a wide range of topics, covering both business skills / techniques and personal development. The key differentiators for Active Learning Days are:
Based on Best Practice - Active Learning evolved from the experience of the club in networking, benchmarking and facilitating best practice. As such it is training from the real world, for the real world.
Business experience - all our consultants have many years' experience working in both private and public sector organisations, so understand your needs and issues and can tailor the workshops accordingly.
Interactive learning - our workshops are based on the concept that people learn best by doing and as such contain a range of individual and group activities. As well as helping to embed learning, they create an environment that is non-threatening and fun - and therefore more conducive to learning.
Dynamic events - some training courses are so inflexible in their structure that delegates are not able to focus on the areas that are most interesting to them. Our workshops are more dynamic, evolving during the day to reflect the concerns and needs of the group.
Transfer of learning - it is crucial that learning can be transferred back into the workplace. To assist in this process, we include action planning sessions on our workshops and our consultants are available and accessible before and after the event itself.
