Welcome to our new look Learning Matters! We have taken on board your feedback to make the format simpler / snappier and to include more practical activities to help you to Get Happy, Get Creative and Get Results. Our revamped newsletter will now be split into three sections that link back to our Get Happy - will include tips and activities to help bring more laughter and happiness into your own life and to energise and motivate your team / organisation. Our Laughing Matters page will give you an instant lift with jokes, videos and motivational quotes. This edition looks at defining and measuring happiness, with our usual helping of seasonal fun. Get Creative - will focus on what you can do to achieve the results you want. This will cover both 'creative' and practical activities for individuals and teams to help free you from day-to-day pressures and enable you to look at your problems from a different perspective. This edition looks at the concept of 'tinkering' as a route to creativity and idea generation. Get Results - will look both at how to focus on the results you want and include research, case studies and details of what people have achieved as a result of some of our suggestions from earlier editions. This edition looks at setting achievable outcomes both personally and for your team / organisation. We hope you enjoy this edition and would like to wish you all a Happy Christmas, a Creative New Year and a 2010 filled with Good Results and of course, lots of laughter. |
