People are the most important resource of any organization. Studies have shown that continued challenge, personal growth and development helps to maintain employee motivation and the retention of key personnel – not to mention the direct benefits of a more effective employee!
At Pearlcatchers we are committed to helping individuals understand their strengths and work on their development areas in a relaxed, fun and practical way. We run a select amount of open courses both directly or as Active Learning Days for the Best Practice Club. However, our speciality is designing in-company training ranging from one-day workshops on key aspects of personal effectiveness, through to year long leadership development programmes or coaching / mentoring programmes for all levels of management.
- Whether in-company or open workshops, our aim is to focus on the needs of the individual – and where possible tailored to the delegates on each course, using pre-work / questionnaires to gain an understanding of each delegate’s objectives and skill levels
- People learn best by doing, so all our programmes are rooted in the concepts of accelerated and experiential learning with a practical emphasis
- Learning is much more than just attending a workshop – follow-up activity to embed learning has been proven to be the best way to translate investment in training to real business benefits. Therefore all our programmes involve additional reading material and exercises, together with action planning at the end of each workshop and where applicable, follow up activities / projects in the workplace
