Wine Trail Challenge

The Wine Trail Challenge is a multi-layered treasure hunt with a wine theme that will challenge and entertain groups of all levels. The challenge can be prepared in any location, worldwide and at a pace to suit an elegant client day, or a high-powered team development event.

After completing a wine puzzle, teams are each given a pack containing a map of the area to be covered, clue sheets, hampers etc and set on the hunt. The teams need to get to as many points on the map within the allotted time. At each point they will find the answer to one of a set of wine-related cryptic clues on the clue sheet. As well as collecting the answers to the clues, an objective is to decipher a "wine code" - a combination of a number of clues - which will give them access to a secret challenge (and possibly chilled champagne) at a half way point.

There are also mystery sites to locate and historical questions to answer (written around the particular location). Teams also perform a series of tasks and complete mini wine challenges, which they will have to record with Polaroid cameras to gain extra points.

Points will not be given for the speed at which teams complete the tour (although points are deducted for late finishers) but for successfully listing the answers to the clues, performing and recording the tasks and of course deciphering the all important wine code.
