Our expert gives a humorous, anecdotal introduction to the palate and food and wine culture, with a computer animated show. Guests are given a wide range of wines to taste with a selection of specially prepared canapes or a set menu over lunch or dinner. After recording likes and dislikes, they then award the pairing a mark based on the principles of balance, as would a professional sommelier (that smart looking French chap in restaurants). Marks are then compared to those of our expert and points awarded.
This fun, interactive challenge helps guests to set aside their personal preferences and judge food and wine objectively, whilst relaxing in a convivial, stimulating atmosphere.
