Stepping Stones* Faced with a "piranha infested" lake, the teams need to cross it using a series of stepping stones, planks and rope. Forward thinking and planning are key elements in completing this task successfully.
Kingdom of the Blind The team will need insight into its members, as competent communicators, operators and supervisors will need to be selected before the teams are given the task. This being one of our more complicated tasks, stimulates teamwork, teambuilding and encourages role making.
Spiders Web Hidden in the trees is a giant web. The whole team have to pass through the web without alerting the spider. A very popular task that involves teamwork and planning and promotes the need for trust and reliance amongst team members.
Artesian The teams are faced with a restricted area that contains a virus. The aim is to manoeuvre the virus from its original setting into another area. This is a multi task challenge. It requires forward thinking and processed planning. It enhances cooperation and communication between team members.
The Virus This task requires the team to move equipment from one area to another, with a number of constraints. Strongteamwork and communication between team members becomes essential.
Eggs in Space Using the equipment provided, the teams have to construct a launcher from which to fire a missile across a gorge. The teams need vision and focus to perform the task successfully. This task incorporates an element of fun and competition into the event.
Minefield This task tests the effective use of communication and trust amongst team members. They need to work together to create a language using musical instruments, so listening is vital. The language is then used to guide the team through the minefield.
Druids Maze The teams are faced with a giant bungee maze on the floor. They are informed that it is made over the top of quicksand and the only way they can get across it is by using a series of coloured boards. As a complex puzzle, this task requires the team to plan, implement and evaluate. It will also require the team to use effective communication and leadership.
*Gorge Crossing Faced with a crocodile infested gorge, the teams have to get safely across using the equipment provided. This is one of our more adventurous tasks and requires the teams to use strong communication skills, delegation and evaluation are also key factors.
Water Works This task requires the team to work with water. They will need to plan a sequence of logical moves to solve the puzzle. The task requires team members to use effective teamwork, communication and problem solving.
Bomb Squad*
The team members are informed that they are the only �Bomb Squad� able to deactivate a series of bombs planted in the Reactor Chamber of a Nuclear Power Station. This tasks looks at problem solving, planning and teamwork.
Flag Pole The team will be required to raise the flag-pole to a vertical position and then hoist the flag. A multi-task challenge that will require the team to work together using a processed plan. The task concentrates on teamwork, planning and resource management.
Zin Obelisk* This task is completed indoors and is a complex mind puzzle. The team will need to communicate various pieces of information to each other, discarding any spurious clues. The task concentrates on the use of communication skills, time management and teamwork.
The Tower* A puzzle that requires planning, forward thinking and teamwork. The team is required to move a tower of six giant cubes from one area to another. There is only one sequence that is feasibly possible, make a mistake and start again!
Tsunami With a Tsunami Tidal Wave approaching from the North. The team must construct a safe platform high enough off the ground, to save them from the floods. This task will require planning, implementation and review.
Dubani Planks* In the centre of a restricted area are four coloured balls. The team must locate each ball on its respective coloured stand, using only four planks. This task will require the team to use logical thinking, strong communication and forward thinking.
Super Tanker* This indoor task gives participants an opportunity to break from the elements. It is a mind puzzle that requires the team to calculate the whereabouts of the "super tanker". The task will require planning, clear communication and teamwork.
Squares* A total of sixteen smalls squares must be laid to create one large square. The team must work together to rearrange the squares to ensure that squares of the same colour do not touch horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
Giant Pyramid* The team must build a four-sided symmetrical pyramid out of eight giant blocks. This task will require effective time management, teamwork and communication.
Ten Poles The poles will be laid out, equal distances apart, in a line. The object of this task is to move the poles, in a particular sequence to end up with five crosses. A number of constraints apply and will be explained during the briefing.
Meltdown The team must split the units of highly dangerous Kraptonite into stable units. The difficulty is that they only have three odd sized containers. The correct apparatus and protective clothing must be worn.
Handcuffs The team members will form pairs and will then be handcuffed together at the wrists. The object of this fun task is to try to remove the rope cuffs without using their hands to pull them off their wrists.
