The Arena
The arena is a supervised area with staff on hand to assist the participants and ensure accurate time keeping and fair play. The staff are fun and friendly and encourage a competitive atmosphere. A professional compere views proceedings from the road show stage and with his turbosound PA sound system, playing music and jingles to add to the atmosphere.
Prize Giving
The event will end with a prize giving ceremony carried out within the arena. The winners receive champagne, 1st and 2nd place medals and the lowest scoring the wooden spoon.
The Games
Games are tailor made to suit the client's requirements and can be very energetic or much more relaxed. A versatile event that can be focused on teambuilding and motivation or just lots of fun. All of the inflatables and props are laid out within the arena to maximise the viewing for both participating teams and spectators alike.
The games can be played wet or dry. If a wet "It's A Knockout2 is chosen the players will definitely get wet when clambering over foam covered inflatables and through jet sprays!
Favourite games include Sumo Ball, Water Babies, Pole Joust, Sponge Attach, Wet and Wild Assault Course.
Sumo Ball
Three teams run at once with their own 2m diameter inflatable push ball. From the word go the song Turning Japanese will be played by our DJ with jingles and samples creating the desired atmosphere.
The object of the game is for the teams to push the ball using five members of their team to score a goal in the centre of the arena. After each attempt at goal they must then push the ball back to their start line for the next 5 members of the team to take over. The game sounds easy, but the goal is defended by three of our arena staff. With three teams running at once, there is absolute mayhem on the pitch, with the balls flying around in every direction.
Sponge Attack
Three teams will compete at a time, lining up behind our giant catapults. After the whistle blows the first member of the team must run to a crash mat and wait. The second player will run to the catapult, take a wet sponge from the bucket and fire it up in the air for a team mate on the crash mate to catch.
If he or she catches the sponge then it goes in the bucket, if they simply run to the back of the queue and the next players take their go. The game lasts for three minutes and the team members go round until the final whistle. At the end of the game the sponges will be counted and points awarded accordingly.
Water Babies
Water Babies is a fantastic game involving inflatables, nappies and lots of water. Three teams running at a time must put on a nappy, grab a bucket and run to the pool. Once they fill the bucket they must climb our giant inflatable mountain, slide down and proceed across another two inflatables before emptying their buckets into large transparent containers. The inflatables will all be covered in foam and water jets will be spraying across the arena. Unfortunately the buckets have holes in them - just to make it more fun.
Pole Joust
A favourite with the crowds as four members from each team will be asked to compete in this game. We will invite all the contestants and spectators into the arena around the large swimming pool and then the draw will take place. Each contestant will have to sit astride the pole and balance over the pool. On the command "fight" the contestants must attempt to knock off their opponent using a foam filled pillow.
Wet and Wild Assault Course
The last game of the day, in which all members of the team must complete our assault course in the quickest time. Carrying a 13 piece soft play puzzle, all of the team must complete the course, climbing over the inflatables, through bungee walls, tyres and under cargo nets. As the teams are running our DJ will play the theme music from Benny Hill to add to the party atmosphere.
After all of the teams have completed the course, we will then add up the final scores and announce the winners of the day.
