The Diamond Dome

Discover the skills, knowledge and creativity of your teams as they work through individual, paired and team challenges. Test their minds and bodies as they explore the six different zones of The Diamond Dome!

Each team is given a passport and a site map and are then escorted to their first zone. The teams will have an allocated time in each zone, during which they will try as many challenges as possible. Each challenge is worth between 1 and 3 diamonds depending on its complexity and time to complete. In some cases (such as Creativity Corner), diamonds are awarded depending on the skill and flair displayed rather than the time to complete - so the quickest isn't always the best.

Upon successful completion of a task, your passport will be stamped, so you can see at any time how many diamonds you have earned. You will then be told which challenge or zone you need to go to next and left to make your way there in the quickest time possible. Depending on the venue, the distance between zones can be several minutes walk, in which case the team will have the opportunity to "buy2 a quicker mode of transport, such as mountain or quad bikes, by using up some of their diamonds.

As a variation, if a team member does not complete a task or "get out" in time, they can be excluded from participating in the rest of the challenges (although they can watch). Alternatively, their colleagues may decide to buy their freedom by sacrificing some of their precious diamonds.

When they have completed all six zones, teams will return to the central "arena" where they will take it in turns to take on The Diamond Dome Decider. The more diamonds you have collected the more time you have in the decider. The Diamond Dome is suitable for 50-500 participants.
